Workshops
Our workshops at Bluebird Studio, nestled within Caol Ruadh, provides immersive experiences for artists of every skill level. Skilled instructors lead participants in transforming clay into individual pieces. This is a wonderful chance to improve your skills while connecting with a community of fellow pottery or sculpture lovers. Look out for our day workshops with Bill and Moira with Raku on the Beach.

Stained Glass with Amanda Farquhar-Scott
We are also excited to offer a unique three-day stained glass course with experienced artist and tutor Amanda Farquhar-Scott.
Amanda will tutor you in all aspects of traditional cutting, leading and painting techniques. You will use all of these creative skills to produce a leaded stained glass panel of approx 30 x 30cm and leave equipped to further explore the medium in the future.

RAKU WITH BILL WILLIAMSON
Over summer 2026 we'll be hosting several one-day workshops with Bill Williamson. Raku is a special clay finishing process originating in Japan that leaves a unique cracked effect on the piece.
Two pots per person will be provided and all
materials for decorating them are included.
Attendees aren’t required to bring anything with
them other than enthusiasm.

Raku Workshop with Bill Williamson
The instructor will be experienced sculptor and friend of the Sculpture Park, Bill Williamson (@tritium_pottery). He’ll be showing students how to create the unique cracked finish on clay cups and pots.
Two pots per person will be provided and all materials for decorating them are included.
