ARTIST STATEMENT
I create sculptural forms and vessels, hand built in ceramic, with highly textured, distressed organic surface. Influenced by the dynamic meeting of the sea and rock structures. I am moved by the deeper, unseen forces of energy that have shaped our landscape over time. I approach my work with an awareness of that power. Eruptions on the surface of the clay are caused by inner movement within the form.
